Muscat: The "Oman Vision 2040" Implementation Follow-up Unit will release its first-quarter report for 2026.

The report provides a comprehensive overview of the outcomes achieved during the first five years of the Vision, alongside key updates and efforts undertaken in 2026. It highlights major transformations, projects, and results, assesses progress toward targeted indicators, and outlines the requirements for the next phase.

This report is part of a series of periodic updates that have tracked the implementation of the Vision since its inception. "

The first report, issued in 2021, focused on defining the components of the Vision, the national programs, and the establishment of a follow-up framework. Subsequent reports have monitored the execution of programs and initiatives, tracked progress against key performance indicators—comparing actual results with established targets—and identified both areas of advancement and aspects requiring further development. These reports have also enabled the public to follow the progress of the Vision’s implementation.

The release of this year’s report coincides with "Oman Vision 2040" entering its second quarter and the launch of the eleventh five-year plan (2026–2030).

This phase builds on what has been achieved over the past five years, focusing on accelerating performance in areas that require further improvement, fostering economic diversification and fiscal sustainability, developing national capabilities, expanding private sector participation, and achieving comprehensive and balanced development across the governorates.
