The ceremony, held at the parade ground of Said bin Sultan Naval Base, included the graduation of officer cadets, university officer graduates, and a new batch of recruit soldiers, in addition to military displays reflecting the high training and qualification standards of RNO personnel. It also highlighted the Royal care and noble attention bestowed upon the Royal Navy of Oman by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, as it progresses toward further modernization, development, and equipping in armaments, hardware, and human capabilities to bolster its military capabilities for carrying out its momentous national responsibilities.

The celebration began with the playing of the Royal Anthem. The chief guest inspected the graduation column. Subsequently, the parade column performed a military display in slow and quick march, coinciding with the descent of the mast-climbing team from the vessel Shabab Oman II.

The Royal Navy of Oman Band then performed military musical selections and formed a symbolic formation representing the Royal Crown, followed by a display of arms handling skills by the graduates. The Chief Guest then presented the Sword of Honor to Sub-Lieutenant Abdullah Ali al Ghailani, who achieved first place in the officer cadets course, and honored Sub-Lieutenant Hamoud Hamad al Kiyumi, who achieved first place in the university officers course.

Participants chanted the Royal Navy of Oman anthem "Bahriyyat Al Majd" (Navy of Glory), took the oath of allegiance, recited the pledge of loyalty, and proclaimed three cheers for His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander. The parade column then advanced in review order, after which the Royal Anthem was played, marking the conclusion of the Royal Navy of Oman Annual Day ceremony.
