LONDON: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Information, participated in the distribution of this year's Press Club awards in London, (the Oscars of Journalism).

The event was held in the presence of several of the most influential figures in the media sector, honouring the most prominent works in the fields of news coverage, investigative journalism, and exclusive investigations.

The participation of the Ministry of Information, through presenting the 'Journalist of the Year' and 'Financial Journalist of the Year' awards, represents an important step toward enhancing the Sultanate of Oman's presence in the British media landscape.

It also expands its network of professional relations with influential media institutions and consolidates the role of media cooperation as one of the paths supporting bilateral relations and building sustainable partnerships between Oman and the United Kingdom.

This participation reflects the Sultanate of Oman's interest in appreciating professional excellence in the journalistic field. It also provided an opportunity to connect with a group of journalists, editors-in-chief, and professionals working in the media sector in the United Kingdom, opening the way for the exchange of expertise in the fields of external media and international media relations, and exploring opportunities. — ONA
