Muscat: The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers has invited members of the community to participate in the Vote and contribute to the identification of priority topics related to the fifth edition of the Together We Advance Forum 2027.

Voting will end to finalise topics of the forum via the website e-forum (www.togetherfwd.om), on October 18.

The General Secretariat is also preparing to launch the fifth edition of the "Together We Advance" forum across the Sultanate’s governorates.

This initiative builds upon the forum's legacy as an annual national platform for constructive dialogue and reinforces the approach of active participation and enhanced communication between the government and society. It facilitates discussions on policies and development issues that directly impact the reality of each governorate and the aspirations of its people, thereby strengthening the community's role as a partner in shaping the dialogue agenda and ensuring the forum's topics align closely with citizens' interests and local community needs.

This expansion reflects a commitment to bolstering community partnership in defining priorities for the upcoming phase across the governorates—alternating with the main forum held in Muscat—and contributes to shaping future directions and strategies that meet the community's aspirations and visions by providing a platform to hear their views, experiences, and proposals.

The voting process allows citizens to select topics via the online platform, using a registration mechanism linked to the permanent address recorded in the Civil Status Registry. The platform also enables them to propose additional topics they deem more suitable for discussion during the forum in their respective governorates.

In its fifth edition, the forum will continue its approach of engaging the community in shaping the dialogue agenda. A range of topics is presented for voting to gauge the aspirations of local communities across the various governorates, allowing citizens to select priority issues; the voting results then form the basis of the dialogue agenda for the meetings.
