MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman has condemned the attacks targeting Abha and King Khalid international airports in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in deaths, injuries and material damage.
Oman reiterated its categorical rejection of attacks on civilian facilities and actions that endanger the security of the Kingdom and the safety of civilians.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Thursday, Oman stressed the need to exercise wisdom and restraint and avoid any actions that could further escalate tensions, in order to preserve security and stability in the region.
The Sultanate of Oman also expressed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia, extended its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery
