Muscat: The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) has urged everyone not to disclose any personal information or private data to unknown or unverified parties, and not to respond to any requests for home visits made in the name of the NCSI.
NCSI said that it does not conduct field surveys or home visits, nor does it request individuals to provide a One-Time Password (OTP).
The NCSI also clarified that all public opinion surveys it conducts are announced through its official social media platforms or website, and that the authorized contact centre number used to conduct such surveys is (24219000).
