Muscat: The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Thailand has advised citizens to exercise caution due to the heavy rains currently affecting Bangkok and various regions of Thailand, with forecasts indicating continued rainfall and a potential risk of flooding.
The Embassy urged everyone to stay away from low-lying areas, avoid going out to sea, and adhere to local safety guidelines.
The Embassy noted the likelihood of traffic delays and travel disruptions caused by accumulated water, recommending that travelers allow extra time for journeys to airports and transportation hubs.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has advised passengers traveling through Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports to plan in advance and allow extra time to reach the airport, amid ongoing heavy rains and flooding that are affecting roads and traffic in Bangkok and the surrounding provinces.
CAAT also warned that adverse weather conditions may impact flight operations, potentially leading to delays or schedule adjustments for some flights depending on the circumstances. It urged passengers to check their flight status through the airlines' official channels before heading to the airport, avoid waterlogged roads, and allocate sufficient time for arrival, with the option to use available train transportation.
These warnings come amid forecasts of continued heavy to very heavy rain in Bangkok and surrounding areas during September 25–27, 2026, according to the Thai Meteorological Department.
