AL JABAL AL AKHDHAR: The joint military exercise "Shoja' Al Sahel / 1" (or Courageous Coast / 1) began on Thursday, conducted by the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), represented by the Muscat Battalion, and units from the Land Forces of the Union of the Comoros.
The joint exercise, held in the military training area of the Royal Army of Oman in the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdhar, will include a variety of military training drills in accordance with the exercise plan and set training objectives.
The execution of joint military exercises comes within the framework of the annual training plans and programmes conducted by the Royal Army of Oman with Arab and other countries to maintain the level of readiness and operational efficiency of its personnel, alongside exchanging military expertise with the participating forces. — ONA
