MUSCAT: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion has urged businesses and producers preparing items for Oman’s National Day celebrations to obtain approval before printing or production.

Prior approval is required for products featuring the image of His Majesty the Sultan, the National Emblem, the map of the Sultanate of Oman or the national flag.

Applications must be submitted to the ministry’s Licensing Department, accompanied by images showing how the national symbol will appear on the product.

The deadline for submitting applications is October 15, 2026.

The ministry stressed that the use of images of Royal Palaces and Royal Mosques, as well as the Royal Emblem, is strictly prohibited.
