

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Botswana signed nine agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) during His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s state visit to Botswana.
The agreements and MoUs cover general cooperation, political consultations, the abolition of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and special passports, air services, investment promotion, medicines security and regulatory cooperation.
They also include cooperation on pharmaceutical supply and investment, mining exploration, energy security and regional energy development, as well as a memorandum of understanding between Business Botswana and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
