AL BURAIMI: The total number of beneficiaries of the Social Protection Scheme in Al Buraimi Governorate stood at 38,190 by the end of July 2026, according to statistics issued by the Social Protection Fund in Al Buraimi. Hilal bin Salim al Shamsi, Director of the Social Protection Department in Al Buraimi Governorate, said that the Social Protection Scheme seeks to ensure that legally mandated benefits reach their deserving recipients.


Al Shamsi pointed out that the Childhood Benefit Programme garnered the highest number of beneficiaries, exceeding 29,000, followed by the Elderly Benefit Programme (4,000 beneficiaries), the Family Income Support Benefit (2,896 beneficiaries), the Disability Benefit (1,379 beneficiaries) and the Orphans and Widows Benefit (522 beneficiaries). - ONA
