

SALALAH: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, met in the Wilayat of Salalah, with a group of Honorary Consuls of the Sultanate of Oman accredited to a number of countries and cities around the world.
The meeting highlighted the role of honorary consuls within the framework of friendship and cooperation relations with the Sultanate of Oman, as well as highlighting various opportunities for economic, commercial partnership and cultural and scientific exchange.
The Foreign Minister affirmed the importance of the ongoing engagement with the honorary consuls and benefiting from their networks of relations and expertise in the context of human and civilisational communication between peoples and cultures.
The Foreign Ministry prepared for the honorary consuls an introductory programme about Dhofar Governorate and the capabilities and opportunities it possesses in various sectors.
The meeting was attended by Honorary Consuls of the Sultanate of Oman, namely Boleta Senkiene in Lithuania, Eng Ivo Vaněk in the Czech Republic, Francesco Palau in Milan, Italy, Talal bin Salim Al Wahaibi in Istanbul, Türkiye, Pablo Caralps in Barcelona, Spain, Tommaso D’Errico in Florence, Italy, Hussein bin Saif Al Harthy in Rwanda, Erdene Dorjnamjim in Mongolia, Dr Mohammed Chand in Botswana, and Prakash Nair in Kerala, India.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Khalid bin Hashel Al Muselhi, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs. - ONA
