President of Rwanda begins visit on Monday

MUSCAT: President Paul Kagame of the Republic of Rwanda will pay an official two-day visit to the Sultanate of Oman on Monday.


This was announced in a statement issued on Saturday by the Diwan of Royal Court, the text of which is as follows: “In pursuit of strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Rwanda in all that serves to advance their shared interests across various fields, President Paul Kagame of the Republic of Rwanda will pay an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman on September 7-8. The visit stems from the mutual commitment to develop and expand joint ties in a manner that brings goodness and benefit to the peoples of the two friendly countries.


“The visit will address a set of topics of mutual concern to both countries and means of promoting them in a manner that serves their interests and meets their aspirations.”


Bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Rwanda continue to evolve across multiple sectors, reflecting the shared commitment. - ONA
