France-based travel-insurance broker and insurtech platform Insurte has announced a new partnership with Oman Air to provide seamless travel insurance solutions embedded directly into the customer experience.
As a result of the partnership, travellers who fly with Oman Air can get insurance coverage during the flight booking process. Through this partnership, Insurte works as a technological provider, enabling a powerful integration that isn't just innovative in the Insurtech landscape, but also seamlessly designed. With its proprietary API, Insurte is able to equip Oman Air with a trustworthy, reliable technology.
"With our expert in-house team and more than 15 years of global experience", Insurte's CEO Stéphane Jersol said. "We're ready to provide a reliable, fast and easy-to-use technology".
By incorporating their technologies directly into Oman Air's already intuitive platform, customers will be able to expect a fast, straightforward journey.
Earlier this week, Indian financial services entity Wizzmoni joined hands with Oman Air to launch the Wizz Voyager Multi-Currency Card, an AI-powered payment solution that integrates global forex management with airline rewards and travel benefits.
The co-branded travel solution is designed to bridge the gap between international aviation and digital finance. For fintech professionals, this partnership signals a deepening integration of ancillary airline services with real-time foreign exchange and smart financial controls.
The Wizz Voyager Multi-Currency Card is a digital-first payment tool developed to serve frequent travellers, international students and global professionals. The card supports multiple global currencies, allowing users to manage their spending through a digital platform that features real-time tracking and automated financial management.
A central feature of the card is its milestone-based rewards system, which converts everyday spending into travel-specific assets. Users can earn Oman Air flight vouchers, cabin upgrades and other exclusive benefits. Furthermore, the Wizz Voyager digital platform provides direct access to Oman Air holidays and ancillary services, facilitating a unified journey from the initial booking phase to point-of-sale transactions abroad. The onboarding process is entirely digital, though the physical card will be accessible through Oman Air counters, Wizzmoni branches and authorised partner locations.
"Our partnership with Wizzmoni reflects that vision by combining travel and payments into one seamless experience, giving guests greater flexibility while unlocking meaningful rewards every time they travel. The Wizz Voyager Card complements our wider retail and ancillary strategy, making international travel simpler, more connected and more rewarding", said Surya Kuchibotla, Vice President — Retailing, Ancillary & Commerce, Oman Air.
