

MUSCAT: Oman crude oil price for October 2026 delivery fell by $2.19 on Wednesday to $86.93 per barrel, according to the Gulf Mercantile Exchange.
The decline came a day after Oman crude surged $8.13 to $89.12 per barrel on Tuesday.
The move contrasted with gains in global oil markets, where US crude rose 0.8% to $83.89 a barrel, while Brent gained 0.7% to $89.49, putting both benchmarks on course for a sixth consecutive daily rise.
Global crude prices had also settled more than $1 higher on Tuesday, extending gains following a sharp rise of around 5% on Monday.
