Salalah is set to welcome Oman’s first Rixos-branded resort in early 2027, bringing the chain’s luxury all-inclusive model to Dhofar’s coastline and adding a new international flag to the governorate’s expanding hospitality offering.
Overlooking the Indian Ocean, the beachfront property will comprise 286 rooms and suites, supported by multiple pools, a spa, kids’ and teens’ clubs, ballrooms and four restaurants set in lush gardens near Al Haffa Souq. Located some 15 minutes from Salalah International Airport, the resort is designed as a tranquil retreat expected to be particularly appealing during the Khareef Dhofar Season.
The first Rixos property in the Sultanate of Oman under the Accor/Ennismore portfolio, the resort is positioned as blending Omani heritage with the brand’s signature hospitality, offering spacious rooms and private villas, family facilities, wellness amenities and varied dining aimed at families and couples alike.
UAE-based law firm The Bench led by Alexandra Plain commented: “It was a real pleasure working with the owners on the project. Rixos Salalah is a landmark for Oman’s tourism sector and I’m delighted to have helped the owner put the right agreements in place. I look forward to seeing the resort open in 2027”.
Rixos, founded by Fettah Tamince, joined Accor in 2017 and has since more than tripled its network, establishing itself as a leading player in luxury all-inclusive resorts with growth across Türkiye, the Middle East, Egypt and Asia. The brand sits within Ennismore, the lifestyle hospitality group whose portfolio spans 16 brands and more than 200 hotels worldwide, while parent group Accor operates more than 45 brands across the luxury, lifestyle, premium, midscale and economy segments.
