IBRA: Represented by Nama Group, the Authority for Public Services Regulation (APSR) hosted a national campaign on awareness about electricity and water services in Al Sharqiyah North Governorate.

The campaign was held as part of a meeting held by the Municipal Council to engage members of the community and civil society institutions from the wilayats of the governorate.

A visual presentation made during the meeting outlined the campaign's objectives, including informing subscribers about their rights and advising them about ways to use official digital channels to obtain the service, with the prime objective of consolidating the concept of digital transition in public services.

The campaign showed that 40 services were made available through Nama App and electronic portal. The services include bill payment, the reporting of leaks and malfunctions, the monitoring of consumption and the filing of complaints without having to visit the company’s showrooms.

The campaign also showed that the rate of subscribers who use the App stood at 70 per cent. This reflects the subscribers’ growing reliance on digital technology. — ONA
