SALALAH: Raysut Cement Company returned to profit in the first half of 2026 after posting a net profit of RO 2.71 million, reversing a loss of RO 2.58 million recorded in the corresponding period last year.

The turnaround was supported by stronger sales and improved operational performance, with revenue rising 26.3 per cent to RO 52.20 million from RO 41.34 million in the first six months of 2025, according to the company's preliminary unaudited financial results.

Ali bin Abdullah al Zadjali, Chairman of Raysut Cement Group, said the results reflected the company's ability to improve cost management, expand its revenue base and strengthen operational efficiency.

He said the performance demonstrated the success of the company's financial and operational strategies despite challenging market conditions.

Al Zadjali added that the company remained focused on creating long-term value for shareholders while reinforcing its position in the regional cement industry. — ONA
