MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman has condemned the missile threats targeting the southern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reaffirming the Sultanate of Oman’s full solidarity with the Kingdom and support for all measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security and stability.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, the Sultanate of Oman urged all Yemeni parties to exercise maximum restraint, adhere to the existing truce and resume the UN-led political process.

The Sultanate of Oman stressed that a political solution remains the only path to achieving security and stability in Yemen while preserving the vital interests of neighbouring countries.
