Harry Styles has been recognised with a Guinness World Record for the longest residency by a musician at Wembley Stadium during a single run, after performing 12 shows at the London venue as part of his Together, Together tour.

The record was confirmed on Saturday following the final concert of the residency, which began on June 12 in support of his fourth studio album, 'Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally'.

Originally announced as a six-night run, overwhelming demand led to six additional Wembley dates. The 12-show residency surpassed the previous record of 10 concerts, set by Coldplay during their Music of the Spheres World Tour in 2025.

Following official verification, Guinness World Records adjudicator Will Munford presented Styles and his tour crew with the record certificate on stage. Additional certificates were distributed to members of the wider tour team in recognition of their contribution.

Munford described the achievement as “extraordinary,” noting that Wembley Stadium is one of the world’s most iconic live music venues. He praised the scale of Styles’ performances, his connection with fans and the collective effort of the touring team.

The achievement also makes Styles the solo artist with the most concerts performed during a single run at Wembley Stadium, surpassing Taylor Swift’s previous record of eight shows in 2024.

Styles is no stranger to Guinness World Records. In 2022, his hit single As It Was earned a record for 2.28 billion global subscription streaming equivalent units across digital platforms, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.

As a member of One Direction, Styles also shared six Guinness World Records, including becoming the first group to debut at number one in the United States with their first four albums.

The Together, Together tour began in Amsterdam in May and will continue with stops in São Paulo, Mexico City, New York City and Melbourne before concluding in Sydney on December 13. The singer released 'Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally' in March. -dpa
