MUSCAT: The General Command of the Royal Oman Police (ROP) supplied the Police Command of Dhofar Governorate with a human support force, backed by advanced machinery and technical equipment, in a step that reflects the ROP's keenness to enhance field efforts and elevate the quality of security and policing services provided to visitors of the governorate throughout the khareef Dhofar Season.

Within the framework of striving to raise the efficiency of rapid response to various reports, reduce traffic accidents, and provide support and guidance to users of the roads leading to the governorate, the Royal Oman Police has set up multiple security checkpoints at several strategic locations, equipping them with direct communication lines to facilitate contact for visitors during emergencies, ensuring comprehensive security coverage along the roads leading to Dhofar Governorate to contribute to the security handling of reports.

The Hamra Al Duru checkpoint, located on the Auwifiyah road (Ibri / Fahud), has been activated, along with the Al Ghaba checkpoint in the Wilayat of Adam. Additionally, the Saih Al Zamaim and Al Ghaftain checkpoints are stationed in the Wilayat of Haima, the Qatbit checkpoint in the Wilayat of Maqshin, and the Saih Al Khairat checkpoint in the Wilayat of Thamrait.
