Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, met on Thursday with Prince Faisal bin Farhan al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia. This meeting took place within the framework of the two ministers’ participation in the joint ministerial meeting between the GCC countries and the US held in Manama. They exchanged views regarding a number of issues and developments related to the region.
They also touched upon several issues of a bilateral nature, falling within the framework of the existing cooperation under the initiatives of the Omani-Saudi Coordination Council. The ministers underscored during the meeting the strength of the deep-rooted relations between the two countries. They emphasised the importance of continuing joint action across various fields in a manner that serves mutual interests and enhances the march of joint Gulf action. — ONA
