Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received a telephone call on Friday from Dr Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the call, the two ministers reviewed the latest regional developments and exchanged views on ongoing efforts to support sustainable and just political solutions aimed at enhancing security and stability across the region.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the freedom and security of maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, in line with their sovereign responsibilities over their territorial waters and in accordance with international law, while safeguarding the interests of regional and international stakeholders.
