Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said on Sunday "meaningful progress" had been achieved in U.S. and Iran negotiations, offering grounds for optimism that a positive ‌and durable outcome is within reach.

Earlier in the ‌day, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated U.S. President Donald Trump for ‌what he described as "extraordinary efforts" to pursue ‌peace, adding that Pakistan remained committed to continuing talks and hoped to host the next round soon.
