MUSCAT: Visitors to Oman Sustainability Week and the Oman Oil & Gas Exhibition have praised this year’s edition as a major step forward, highlighting the scale of innovation, strong international participation and the wide range of advanced technologies showcased.


The event attracted large crowds of industry professionals, students, entrepreneurs and members of the public, all eager to explore the latest developments in sustainability, renewable energy, digital transformation and smart industrial solutions. Many attendees said the exhibition reflected Oman’s growing role in the global energy and sustainability landscape.


Abdulla bin Saeed described the exhibition as an eye-opening experience, saying, “I discovered companies at the exhibition that I had never heard of before,” highlighting the broad international participation and the opportunity to learn about emerging businesses and future-focused technologies. He added that the event has evolved beyond a traditional showcase into an important platform for exploring the future of the energy sector.


Zamzam al Belishi expressed excitement about the technologies on display, saying: “I saw so many technologies for the first time.” She noted that several smart solutions and innovative applications reflected the rapid pace of global technological transformation while demonstrating Oman’s efforts to stay aligned with international developments.


Many visitors also voiced pride in Oman’s achievements in sustainability and energy innovation. One attendee remarked: “Oman has reached places we never expected, and hopefully we will continue to see world-class developments,” describing the exhibition as evidence of the Sultanate of Oman’s ambition to strengthen its role in sustainable development and green energy initiatives.


As the exhibition concluded, many visitors left with an optimistic view of Oman’s future in the energy and sustainability sectors.


They emphasised that they witnessed a new era of ambition, innovation and global competitiveness, reinforcing confidence in Oman’s ability to position itself among leading countries in the fields of sustainability and advanced energy technologies.
