Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), represented by the South al Batinah Governorate Police Command, dealt with a report concerning four Asian nationals who were found dead inside a vehicle in the Wilayat of Al Musannah.

Preliminary investigations indicated that the deaths were caused by inhalation of carbon monoxide emitted from the vehicle while its engine was running.

The ROP has urged the public to avoid keeping vehicles running while sleeping or when staying in enclosed areas, due to the dangers posed by toxic gas inhalation and the risk of suffocation.
