

MUSCAT: All 14,000 accepted applicants from the Sultanate of Oman have successfully finalized their travel procedures and requirements for the upcoming 1447 AH Hajj season, achieving a 100 percent completion rate.
Ahmed bin Saleh al Rashdi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs and Head of the Omani Hajj Mission, confirmed the figures, noting a massive turnout during the registration period. The ministry received over 42,000 applications for this year's pilgrimage, with 14,000 individuals ultimately selected based on the approved national eligibility criteria.
Detailing the demographics of this year's contingent, Al Rashdi clarified that the approved quota includes 13,560 Omani citizens alongside 440 resident expatriates.
Highlighting the ministry's ongoing commitment to facilitating a smooth and fulfilling spiritual journey for pilgrims, the Undersecretary also revealed that the overall satisfaction rate among Omani pilgrims during the previous Hajj season reached an impressive 97 percent.
