During the meeting, discussions focused on the latest regional developments, ongoing mediation efforts, and initiatives aimed at ending conflicts.
His Majesty was briefed on Iran’s perspectives regarding these developments, while Iran's FM listened to His Majesty’s views on advancing efforts to reach sustainable political solutions and mitigate the impact of crises on the peoples of the region.
His Majesty underscored the importance of prioritising dialogue and diplomacy as key approaches to addressing regional challenges, reaffirming their role in strengthening the foundations of peace and stability.
For his part, the Iranian Foreign Minister expressed his country’s appreciation for the Sultanate of Oman’s positions, under His Majesty’s leadership, in supporting dialogue and promoting security and stability, particularly amid current regional challenges.
