

NIZWA: The Directorate-General of Education in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate honoured 298 educational and administrative staff members as part of Teacher’s Day celebrations, held under the auspices of Dr Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health.
The ceremony underscored the pivotal role of educators and administrative professionals as key partners in nation-building and in advancing sustainable development, while reinforcing a culture of appreciation for contributions that have enhanced educational quality and improved school and institutional performance.
In his address, Ali bin Abdullah al Harthy, Director-General of Education in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, said the recognition reflects an institutional commitment to valuing the efforts of teaching and administrative staff and celebrating their achievements.
He emphasised that the integration of roles among teachers, school administrations and educational supervisors remains a cornerstone in strengthening the education system and driving meaningful progress in the sector.
The ceremony featured an operetta titled ‘Sails of Glory’, portraying the vital role of teachers and education professionals in development and nation-building.
The programme also included a speech on behalf of the honourees, followed by the recognition of outstanding teachers, school principals, supervisors and administrators for the 2025–2026 academic year. — ONA
