The season featured a variety of competitions, including youth and junior leagues, First and Second Division leagues, the Super Cup, the 15th Ministry Shield, and the Beach Handball Youth League.

The organisation of the women’s league reflects the Association’s commitment to promoting women’s handball, supporting talent development across age groups and strengthening the national talent pool ahead of future international competitions.

The opening round will take place on Thursday, April 23, with two matches at the main hall of Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher. Al Ittihad will face Masirah, followed by a match between Al Amerat and Sohar.

The second round will be held on Friday, April 24, featuring four matches split between morning and evening sessions. In the morning, Sohar will take on Masirah, followed by Salalah against Al Ittihad, Evening matches will see Al Ittihad face Al Amerat, while Masirah meets Salalah.

The third round is scheduled for Saturday, April 25. Morning matches will be held at the secondary hall, where Salalah will face Al Amerat, followed by Sohar against Al Ittihad, Evening fixtures will return to the main hall, with Al Amerat playing Masirah and Salalah taking on Sohar.

The competition will conclude on Sunday, April 26, with the semifinals taking place in the morning, followed by the final and the third-place playoff in the evening.

The league will follow a single round-robin format, with teams collecting points before advancing to the semifinals, where the first-placed team faces the fourth-placed team, and the second-placed team meets the third. Winners will compete for the title, while the losing sides will contest third place. Each team is allowed to include two substitute players, with one eligible to participate on the court, including the possibility of playing as a goalkeeper.
