Muscat: There is a possibility of varying levels of dust-related air pollutants resulting from a moderate dust storm affecting the Sultanate of Oman, based on data from the Naqi platform, which also led to the high concentration of particulate matter and a decrease in air quality.

The Environment Authority (EA) confirmed that these readings resulted from a moderate dust storm affecting the Sultanate of Oman, which is sometimes classified as unhealthy, especially for allergy sufferers.

EA urged everyone to monitor air quality indicators via the platform and adhere to preventive guidelines, including minimizing exposure to outdoor air when dust levels are high.
