MUSCAT: The Research and Innovation Authority (RIA) has announced the opening of registration for higher education students wishing to participate in the 67th edition of London International Young Scientists Forum (LIYSF 2026).

The RIA pointed out that registration to LIYSF 2026 will continue until May 6.

The forum is scheduled to be held in London from July 19 to August 1, 2026.

LIYSF 2026, founded in 1959 as a non-profit social institution, contributed to empowering more than 22,000 students from different countries of the world.

The forum provides a scholarly platform that combines learning and cultural exchange. It enables young people to broaden the scope of their knowledge and establish scientific networks.

LIYSF 2026 aims to raise the standard of young researchers by engaging them in high-quality international experiences and by giving them access to direct communication with prominent scientists and experts so that they could learn about updates in scientific disciplines.

The RIA explained that a participant in the LIYSF 2026 should be a higher education Omani national aged 19 to 23 years and fluent in English language (speaking and writing), with a record of participation in past scientific projects or competitions. — ONA
