Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran held a meeting at the undersecretary level in the ministries of foreign affairs of both countries on Saturday.

The meeting was attended by specialists from both sides and focused on exploring possible options to ensure the smooth flow of transit through the Strait of Hormuz amid the current regional conditions.

During the discussions, experts from both countries presented a number of visions and proposals, which will be further studied.
