MUSCAT: Oman’s aviation sector entities will convene a joint annual media meeting on April 13 to review recent performance and outline future growth strategies, as part of efforts to strengthen the Sultanate of Oman’s position as a regional aviation hub.

The meeting will bring together Oman Airports, Oman Air, SalamAir and Oman Ground Handling Company (Transom), under the auspices of Eng Said bin Hamoud al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.

Senior executives from the participating organisations are expected to present key achievements, expansion plans and areas of operational integration, highlighting progress in enhancing connectivity, service delivery and sector efficiency.

The session will also provide insight into the next phase of development, with a focus on improving passenger experience and supporting broader economic growth.

The annual gathering serves as a platform for media and industry stakeholders to gain a clearer understanding of the aviation sector’s strategic direction and its role in advancing Oman’s logistics and tourism ambitions. — ONA
