MUSCAT, APRIL 1
Under the slogan 'A Tangible Impact,' the Royal Academy of Management (RAM) unveiled its record-breaking achievements for 2025 at its annual media briefing, showcasing a unique interactive experience across five main stations to highlight the Academy’s journey and initiatives.
RAM reported that approximately 11,984 individuals benefited from its services, with 2,258 participants attending its programmes and activities, bringing the total number of participants since its inception to 4,006.
The Academy implemented 19 programmes and 13 intellectual sessions, alongside initiatives in local administration and research published in the journal Al Idari (The Administrator). Achieving a service satisfaction rate of 88.6 per cent, RAM reinforced its focus on quality, results measurement, and maximising institutional impact.
Abdulaziz al Raisi, Assistant Head for Institutional Affairs, said, "The numbers and achievements are significant, but what matters most is feeling the impact — in your community, environment, home, colleagues and institutions. Our approach is always to identify where this impact is truly felt."
Dr Fathia al Rashidi, Assistant Head of Programme Affairs, emphasised that impact measurement begins from day one of programme design, with initiatives carefully selected to meet real needs.
RAM also highlighted its international recognition, earning the LIFT certification from the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), making it the only institution in the Middle East with this accreditation. LIFT measures impact and sustainability across the educational value chain — from planning and implementation to evaluation at individual, institutional and community levels.
Further strengthening its global presence, RAM co-hosted the Future Readiness Award with Thinkers50, attracting over 300 international participants and positioning the Academy as a regional and international platform for leadership excellence and capacity building.
In research, RAM presented a national future readiness framework in partnership with experts and in coordination with the Ministry of Economy.
Strategic studies addressed the 'tripartite partnership,' economic enablers in governorates, AI road maps, decentralisation, and analytical insights for policy-making and local administration forums.
The 2026 operating model, aligned with Oman Vision 2040, focuses on three strategic tracks: executive learning, strategic initiatives and sectoral interactive units.
This model includes high-quality programmes in artificial intelligence, international negotiation, leadership and logistics, supported by initiatives to measure participant experience, activate program impact and enhance digital services.
A new digital learning system marks a milestone in leadership development, offering an integrated interactive platform that combines eight digital programmes with synchronous and asynchronous learning and a digital knowledge library, ensuring blended learning sustainability and long-term impact.
The Alumni Office continues to strengthen leadership networks through initiatives and knowledge-sharing meetings, while the National Initiative for One Government Team empowered 2,590 employees across 19 government entities in its first year, achieving a 95-per cent satisfaction rate and targeting 5,000 participants overall.
RAM also launched the Certified Executive Learning Trainer Training programme, aiming to qualify 25 participants as expert facilitators capable of delivering innovative, efficient learning solutions according to international standards.
The Academy stressed that this annual event reflects a sustainable institutional approach, unifying communications, strengthening media partnerships, and emphasising that true impact is measured by results, not effort alone.
