Muscat: The CDAA's search teams have recovered the body of a citizen who was reported missing after his vehicle was swept away by flash floods in the Wilayat of Manah, as a deep low-pressure system continues to batter parts of the Sultanate.

The incident comes amid a broader wave of severe weather that has claimed lives across several governorates, with intense rainfall triggering wadis, flash floods and hazardous conditions on roads. Authorities have repeatedly urged the public to exercise caution, avoid crossing flooded valleys and adhere to safety guidelines as unstable weather persists.
