Due to the continued impact of the weather system, the chances of heavy thunderstorms will persist on Tuesday morning.

These may be accompanied by hail and fresh downdraft winds caused by the associated cloud activity. Heavy thundershowers are expected, associated with hail and may cause flashfloods (Wadis).

Strong downdraft wind with speed ranging from 20-50 knots (37 - 92km/h).

Reduction in horizontal visibility during thundershowers.

Chance of isolated rain with occasional thundershowers will affect the Dhofar governorate.

Impact level: Low (Limited).

Forecasts indicate that chances of scattered thunderstorms will continue tonight and into the early hours of tomorrow morning across most of the northern governorates and parts of Al Wusta Governorate.
