The National Committee for Emergency Management (NCEM) has activated the Emergency Management Centre, along with emergency response sectors and subcommittees across Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah, North and South Al Sharqiyah, and Al Wusta governorates, in anticipation of heavy rainfall associated with a low-pressure system.

The move included raising the level of preparedness to ensure an effective response to potential impacts.

The committee urged citizens and residents to exercise caution, take necessary safety measures to protect lives and property, and rely on official sources for updates, while adhering to issued guidelines.
