Two dead, one rescued after three vehicles swept away in floods

The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) rescued a person and recovered the bodies of two individuals, following an accident in which three vehicles were swept away by flash floods in Wadi al Maawil, South Al Batinah Governorate.

CDAA urged citizens and residents to exercise caution and avoid crossing wadis while they are flowing, and to adhere to the instructions issued by the relevant authorities to ensure the safety of lives and property.

Muscat

Rescue teams from the CDAA in Muscat Governorate rescued two people after their vehicle was trapped in floodwaters in the Wilayat of Seeb. Both individuals were found to be in good health.

Rescue teams also responded to an incident involving people trapped inside a house in the Al-Mawaleh area of ​​Seeb due to rising floodwaters. Eight women and 12 children were evacuated, and all are in good health.
