Muscat, March 11

The Sultanate of Oman is participating in the international real estate and urban development exhibition MIPIM 2026, currently taking place in Cannes from March 9 to 13. The participation is represented through a national pavilion led by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning (MoHUP), alongside more than 20 partners from government entities and private sector institutions.

The presence reflects the growing momentum witnessed in Oman’s urban development and real estate investment sectors, while reinforcing the Sultanate of Oman’s expanding engagement in international platforms that focus on the future of cities and sustainable urban growth.

On its first day, the Omani pavilion hosted seven specialised panel discussions featuring local and international experts and consultants. The sessions explored topics related to the future of urban investment, the development of integrated cities and sustainable urban planning, while also highlighting the investment opportunities available in Oman’s real estate sector.

The pavilion attracted strong interest from international delegations, investors and representatives of global companies, who explored Oman’s experience in integrated urban planning and reviewed the key projects and initiatives presented by participating entities.
