Oman Airports said that the entry to the airport terminal is restricted to passengers holding confirmed flight tickets, provided that their flight departure time is approaching, and individuals with valid airport access permits.
This measure is implemented to ensure smooth operations and the safety and comfort of all travellers, Oman Airports said in a statement.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of the Sultanate of Oman continues its diligent efforts to enhance readiness and respond effectively to evolving developments in a manner that upholds aviation security and safety standards.
"These efforts also support the work of the relevant authorities in facilitating air travel for all those wishing to return to their home countries through Omani airports and air carriers, while ensuring the effective management of air traffic within Oman's airspace," CAA said.
