WADI AL MAAWIL: Forty per cent of a project to develop the Wilayat of Wadi Al Maawil Park was completed recently. The park is in pursuance of efforts aimed at enhancing public facilities and improving the infrastructure of recreational and service facilities in the wilayat.


The project occupies a total area of 15,201 square metres. It comprises 3,508 square metres of interlock walkways, 700 square metres of epoxy walkways, service buildings, prayer halls and a 242-square metre theatre.


The project includes flower beds, a 6,135-square-metre green turf, seating areas, fountains and playgrounds.


The Wadi Al Maawil Park development is a vital municipal project that aims to enhance the quality of life and establish a suitable environment for social and recreational activities in line with local development trends in the governorate. - ONA
