The Ghazi Ramadan Football Tournament in the Wilayat of Sur continued with another exciting round of fixtures, as the 23rd edition of the competition delivered thrilling encounters and impressive goal-scoring performances at the indoor hall of the Sur Sports Complex, drawing strong fan support.


In the opening match, the Public Authority for Charitable Work secured a deserved 2–0 victory over Madayn in a tactically disciplined contest. Muhannad al Farsi and Moayad Obaid scored the two goals for the Authority, while Madayn struggled to convert their chances despite several attempts to get back into the game.


The second fixture saw the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion edge past Sur University of Technology and Applied Sciences 2–1 in a closely contested battle. Muhannad al Shibli opened the scoring, before Waddah al Siyabi added the second goal. Ahmed bin Amin al Ghilani netted the lone goal for Sur University, keeping the match competitive until the final minutes.

DOMINANT DISPLAY


In the third encounter, Al Awqaf claimed an exciting 3–2 win over the Directorate of Agriculture in one of the most entertaining matches of the evening. Abdullah Khamis Al Alawi was the standout performer, scoring a hat-trick to guide his team to victory. Sharaf Obaid al Salti and Nayef Saleh al Shuaibi scored for Agriculture, but their efforts were not enough to overturn the result.


The final match of the night produced a dominant display from the Labour Directorate, who cruised to a 6–1 win over Omantel. Goals were scored by Juma al Farsi, Mani Rashid, Khalid Khalfan (two goals), Masoud al Rahbi and Mazen Mohammed, while Mohammed Khamis netted Omantel’s only goal.


The results highlight the growing intensity of the competition, with teams battling to strengthen their positions ahead of the decisive stages of the tournament. Once again, the Ghazi Ramadan Tournament continues to affirm its status as one of the most prominent Ramadan sporting events in Sur, thanks to its competitive spirit and strong community support.
