CDAA reviews preparedness for emergencies

MUSCAT: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) held a meeting on Monday to discuss response plans and operational procedures as part of its efforts to enhance preparedness for dealing with emergencies.

The meeting was chaired by Maj Gen Sulaiman al Husseini, Chairman of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority. The meeting discussed operational plans and programmes to improve the efficiency of handling risks and emergencies and ensure rapid response to enhance community safety and stability.

The meeting stressed the importance of coordination among various departments and field teams and updating work mechanisms and procedures to align with international best practices in civil defence and ambulance services.
