Loud explosions were heard across the Gulf cities of Dubai, Doha, and Manama on Monday as Tehran pressed into a third day of strikes against Gulf neighbors in response to US-Israeli air raids.

AFP reporters said they heard several loud blasts in the Qatari and Bahraini capitals, as well as in the United Arab Emirates' most populous city.

Kuwait's forces intercepted an unspecified number of drones targeting the country on Monday, but no casualties were reported, according to the state news agency.

Civil defense chief at Kuwait's interior ministry, Mohammed Al-Mansouri, stressed that Kuwaiti Air Defense personnel efficiently and effectively intercepted several hostile aerial targets at dawn today," official news agency KUNA reported.

“He also affirmed that the situation in the country is stable and there is no cause for concern,” he added.
