MUSCAT: The 28th edition of the Giving Exhibition organised by the Dar Al Atta Association concluded at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, bringing together more than 500 exhibitors from across the Sultanate of Oman and the region.

Held under the auspices of HH Sayyidah Afra bint Talal al Said, the four-day exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of Maryam bint Issa al Zadjali, founder and chairperson of the association’s board of directors.

The annual exhibition has grown into one of the most prominent charitable and community events in Oman, attracting a wide range of exhibitors offering fashion items, accessories, gold and silver jewellery, perfumes, incense, luxury goods, handicrafts, as well as products from small and medium enterprises.

Organisers said the exhibition aims to provide Eid clothing for more than 5,000 children from low-income families registered with the association. In addition to its charitable mission, the event also serves as a platform to support entrepreneurs, enhance household incomes and create marketing opportunities for small businesses and home-based ventures.

This year’s edition has also embraced digital transformation. The association introduced an integrated electronic system that allows exhibitors to register book spaces and complete payments online. Electronic payment options have also been implemented for visitors, helping streamline entry and reduce waiting times while improving overall event management.

Speaking at the opening, Maryam bint Issa al Zadjali noted that the exhibition continues to evolve each year and remains one of the most significant charity-driven events organised in Oman. She added that the current edition features a renewed format and wider participation compared with previous years.

Al Zadjali highlighted the strong presence of local and Gulf exhibitors, saying the diversity has enhanced both the quality and range of products on display while strengthening the exhibition’s role as a platform that blends charity, entrepreneurship and community engagement.

Since its inception, the Giving Exhibition has played an important role in supporting families in need while encouraging local enterprise, making it a key annual event that reflects the spirit of generosity and social solidarity in Oman. — ONA
