

The Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OEC) signed a strategic partnership with the KIT Group for organizing conferences and managing associations.
This partnership comes as part of the center’s efforts to establish global standards and to raise the quality and efficiency of services provided, thereby enhancing the Sultanate of Oman’s competitiveness in attracting regional and international conferences and events.
Engineer Saeed bin Salem Al Shanfari, CEO of the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, said,
"This partnership represents a qualitative leap in the development of the conferences and events sector in the Sultanate of Oman, and reflects the Centre’s commitment to building an integrated system capable of competing globally.'
He pointed out that through this cooperation with experienced international partners, the Centre is working to raise quality standards, maximize economic impact, and consolidate the Sultanate of Oman’s position as a leading destination for hosting major conferences and events, in line with the objectives of “Oman Vision 2040”.
Khalid bin Walid Al-Zadjali, Director of the Oman Convention Bureau at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, said that this partnership represents a strategic step that reflects the Bureau’s commitment to enhancing the conference system in the Sultanate of Oman.
