The number of initiatives launched by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) through its mobile application are benefitting the citizens and residents, who can now avoid the need to visit the civil status office or any ROP offices for most of their purposes.
All they need to do is just download the ROP application on their mobile and register for the first time.
The services offered by the ROP include updating phone numbers for individuals and children via the app, displaying birth certificate service on the app, displaying passport service via the app, displaying employee data for employers, booking appointments for video calls and inmate visits, using digital ID at e-travel gates, reporting human trafficking, using digital ID to verify identity in financial transactions, issuing a license certificate, printing a new license via self-service kiosks and improvements to the electronic learner's driving license system.Oman Observer is now on the WhatsApp channel.
