Ramadhan working hours announced in Oman

The official working hours during the Holy Month of Ramadhan for the year 1447 AH shall be as follows:

For the State Administrative Apparatus, the official working hours during the day shall be 5 continuous hours, starting from 9 AM to 2 PM.

Flexible working hours: The head of the unit shall implement the flexible working hours system and determine the attendance and departure times of employees in a manner that suits the nature of the unit's work in light of the stipulated number of working hours, provided that it starts from 7 AM to 3 PM, and is calculated from the employee's attendance time until they depart from work according to the mechanism followed by the unit.

Remote work: The head of the unit shall implement remote work for occupants of positions whose nature allows for it, without disrupting the workflow in that unit, and in all cases, the number of employees whose attendance is required at their workplaces must not be less than 50% of the total employees.

Private Sector Establishments: Reduction of working hours for Muslim workers to 6 hours per day and not exceeding 30 hours per week.
