Omani beekeeper Masoud bin Bakhit al Shahri was awarded three international medals at the Paris International Honey Competition during the honouring ceremony held on Saturday evening in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in an achievement that confirms the prestigious position that Omani honey enjoys and its high quality in international forums. Al Shahri, the owner of the Salalah Honey project, received two Platinum medals, the highest classification category in the competition, for his Frankincense Honey and Frankincense Honey with Acacia, in addition to a gold medal for his "Acacia Gum Honey" product.
